Hy-Vee - 191st Street - Responsibilities: Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.; Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store.; Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, and relaying customer requests to improve the shopping experience.; Takes customer orders at the Hy-Chi Department counter and handles payment transactions as applicable.; Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the work area and ensures adequate food supply and production readiness.
