Registered Nurse - Psych Specialty

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Psychiatry to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to adult patients with various mental health disorders including mood disorders, psychosis, and suicidal/homicidal ideation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient behavior and condition.
• Administer medications and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and treatment interventions in the electronic health record.
• Support patients and their families through education and therapeutic communication.

Schedule

This position requires a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekend hours required for 2-4 shifts per four-week schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• CPR and CPI certifications.
• Prior psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Must demonstrate reliability, flexibility, empathy, and sympathy towards our patient population.
