We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspect residential and commercial properties, identify pest problems, apply appropriate treatments, and educate customers on preventative measures. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing safe, effective pest management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
• Develop and implement effective pest control treatment plans.
• Safely apply pesticides, insecticides, rodenticides, and other approved pest control products according to company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Educate customers on pest prevention techniques and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate service records, treatment reports, and customer documentation.
• Inspect and maintain service equipment, vehicles, and application tools.
• Respond promptly to scheduled appointments and customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous pest control or related field experience preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• State pest control license or ability to obtain required certification within a specified timeframe.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, crawl, and work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working around insects, rodents, and other pests.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
