Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with an automotive technology organization, is seeking a skilled Sustaining Reliability Laboratory Technician - Battery . This role is responsible for supporting battery and electrified powertrain testing, maintaining laboratory equipment and test setups, and troubleshooting test-related issues to ensure reliable test execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to support product validation and reliability initiatives.

• Install, configure, and maintain test properties across battery and powertrain test equipment
• Execute laboratory tests while minimizing equipment downtime
• Troubleshoot test failures and communicate findings to engineering teams
• Prioritize and complete critical tasks while tests are actively running
• Fabricate test fixtures and instrumentation using various materials and tools
• Disassemble and reassemble production and prototype components for testing activities
• Create and maintain electronic standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory and test equipment
• Train team members on standardized procedures and laboratory practices
• Document daily activities and test-related work electronically
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment
• Participate in daily team meetings and operational reviews

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience
• 2+ years of technician experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, testing, or engineering environment
• Knowledge of laboratory testing equipment and test operations
• Experience with instrumentation and data collection systems
• Proficiency using hand tools and power tools
• Proficiency with computer-based documentation and data entry systems
• Experience writing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures
• Valid driver's license with ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review

• Knowledge of low-voltage electronic systems
• Experience working with high-voltage battery systems
• High-voltage battery certifications
• Knowledge of reliability and durability testing methodologies
• Familiarity with automotive test cells or laboratory environments
• Experience supporting electrified powertrain testing
• Forklift operation experience
• Crane operation experience
