Steel Fabrication Saw Operator wanted for year-round, long-term employment in a NON-Union Shop. West Valley, Phoenix area manufacturer is expanding and looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to fill full-time positions.

Pay rate is DOE.

Applicant Requirements :

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabrication Saw Operator with a primary focus on operating and maintaining saw equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in steel fabrication and CNC machinery, with a strong emphasis on precision and safety.

Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain various types of steel cutting saws, ensuring precision, efficiency, and safety in all cutting processes.

· Handle and transport steel materials, ensuring proper organization and inventory management.

· Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments to the equipment as needed.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks on saw equipment, including blade changes, lubrication, and troubleshooting minor issues.

· Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and team members.

· Utilize CNC machinery when applicable, with a focus on programming and operation, to improve productivity and accuracy.

· Maintain accurate records of production, machine settings, and maintenance tasks performed.

· Work closely with the production team to ensure timely completion of orders and assist in other fabrication processes as needed.

· Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a steel fabrication machine operator, with a specific focus on operating saw equipment.

· CNC machine operation experience is a significant plus.

· Knowledge of steel materials, measurements, and cutting techniques.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Proficient in basic math and measurement tools.

· Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

· Safety-conscious and able to follow safety guidelines rigorously.

· Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 75 lbs).

· Stand, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

· Use personal protective equipment as required.
