Salesforce Application Developer

Zions Bancorporation, is looking for a SeniorSalesforce Application Developer to join the Salesforce team! Top candidates will have strong system administration and no-code development experience and be familiar with maintaining and optimizing system performance, security, and administration. This person will also work closely with the internal Salesforce team to build new features within the Zions Salesforce environments and oversee and execute operational tasks and projects.What are we looking for?We’re looking for a technical leader who is detail oriented and has a strong desire to analyze system and business processes and find ways to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and user experience. We want someone who is committed to ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and corporation standards.The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:Provide technical leadership to the application developer team and other support personnelPlan and execute tasks and projects to improve operational service delivery, system security, and service availabilityConfigure security and integration protocols for the Salesforce platform according to business and technical requirements.Generate reports that can be used to analyze system performance and service levels and identify problem areas for improvementImprove the system by completing user stories that involve no-code/low-code declarative developmentCollaborate with multiple teams to ensure optimal delivery of new features in SalesforceProvide support for the Salesforce helpdesk queueCreate and maintain documentation and training materials related to Salesforce knowledge and support processesParticipate in product delivery teams leveraging an Agile frameworkPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications2-4 years of experience delivering no-code development in a Salesforce environment4-6 years of experience as a Salesforce system administratorDemonstrated experience in a technical team lead role‘Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science preferredRequired SkillsNo-code development expertiseSystem administration and support experienceFamiliarity with security protocols, data protection, and regulatory complianceKnowledge of configuration management and change management.Ability to understand business requirements and perform tasks to meet acceptance criteria.Basic understanding of software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, WaterfallStrong problem solving, analysis and clear communication skills, both verbal and written.Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees to resolve problems and improve processes or systems.Must be able to meet deadlines.Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends in support of operational releasesPreferred skills:Experience with Salesforce and ServiceNow platformsSalesforce certifications preferred, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or equivalentsExperience with release management and development operations.Experience with Data Loader, Demand Tools, or Excel skills for transformation and loading large data setsA combination of education and experience may meet requirements.At Zions Bancorporation, we need team members who can get the job done and do it with enthusiasm.
