Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the youngest learners at a highly regarded early childhood center, serving Pre-K through Kindergarten. A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), either with CCC credentials or at the CF level, is needed to provide coverage for a medical leave starting as soon as possible and continuing through December. Expect a flexible approach to scheduling—whether you're seeking part-time or nearly full-time hours (.5 to .8 FTE), your availability is welcome. The caseload is low, currently estimated at about 15 students, allowing you to focus on impactful, individualized therapy and collaboration with a talented team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility)
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates welcome
  • Prior experience working with early childhood or young children strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a small, manageable caseload of Pre-K and Kindergarten students
  • Write and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Document student goals, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive school culture
