Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 10:30 AM. Unit operates 24/7 with holiday call coverage. Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

Highlights:

• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position supporting a wide variety of surgical specialties including Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery
• Higher acuity patient population providing dynamic clinical experience
• Cerner EMR system in use
• Ground floor PACU unit with structured leadership support from Charge Nurse and Supervisor
• Night shift schedule offering work-life balance during daytime hours
• Contract requires minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact licensure with eligibility for Georgia endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience required
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location
