Job Description - Asset Protection/Safety Investigator FT w/Benefits (260001WO) Job Description Asset Protection/Safety Investigator FT w/Benefits Job Number 260001WO Primary Location United States-Washington-Silvertale Organization Bangor Pay Range : $21.00+DOE Join us as our next Asset Protection/Safety Investigator at Naval Base Kitsap-Silvertale WA at the Navy Exchange Service Command. Responsibilities Utilize various surveillance techniques including overt and covert Closed Circuit Television systems. Prepare case reports, investigative notes, and process evidence in accordance with NEXCOM LPS standards. Provide assistance to management in evacuations of NEX facilities and implementation of mandated Force Protection Anti-Terrorist measures. Candidate must be eligible for and obtain a Secret Clearance within 6 months of appointment; failure to obtain will result in termination. Qualifications U.S. Citizenship and Driver's License required. One year of responsible experience in clerical office or retail sales store work, or similar, demonstrating ability to perform satisfactorily in the position. One year of experience in investigative work, including protection of property, equipment or materials and person‑to‑person relationships, maintaining rules and regulations. Ability to pass a federal background check. One year of academic study above high school level including 6 semester hours in policy administration, police law, evidence investigation, criminology, law enforcement, or similar subjects may substitute for each year of experience.
