Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time assignment runs from August 17, 2026, to May 26, 2027, and focuses on working in a moderate to intense resource classroom setting. Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience in elementary and resource classroom environments preferred
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork with teachers, support staff, and families
- Current teaching certification, or eligibility for certification in Special Education
- Strong understanding of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to first-grade students with moderate to intense needs in a dedicated resource classroom
- Develop and adapt lesson plans customized to meet diverse learning styles and abilities
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure students’ success
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development and contribute to ongoing school improvement initiatives
