As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Huntington, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism and integrity while being part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and succeeds through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support staff and visitors with directions and general assistance while maintaining awareness of site activity and following Allied Universal standards and client-facing expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
