Our organization is in search of dedicated and empathetic Physician Assistants (PAs) to become part of our established urology practices in the Greater Charlotte area. We encourage experienced PAs to explore the possibilities that arise when we unite compassionate hearts, curious minds, and visionary professionals within our Urology team in Greater Charlotte.

Urology PA - Kenilworth:

• Four-day work week with 10-hour shifts.

• No weekend or holiday shifts; NO on-call duties.

• Involvement in urologic procedures.

• Outpatient focus with an average patient load of 16.

Urology PA - Lincoln:

• Work schedule from Monday to Friday.

• No weekend or holiday shifts; NO on-call duties.

• No operating room responsibilities.

• 75-80% outpatient care and 20-25% inpatient care.

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• A strong desire to work in a community-focused environment.

• Licensed Physician Assistant with at least 1 year of urology or surgical experience (new graduates are welcome to apply).

• Graduated from an accredited PA program. Must hold a current license to practice as a PA in North Carolina, along with current prescriptive privileges and a DEA license. BLS certification for healthcare providers from AHA is required.

• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is preferred.

Major Responsibilities:Clinical Knowledge:

• Exhibits understanding of the causes, risk factors, pathophysiology, presentation, and epidemiology of urologic conditions.

• Conducts thorough and accurate history and physical assessments tailored to the patient's age, gender, and clinical issues.

• Orders relevant diagnostic tests and accurately interprets the findings.

• Applies critical thinking to synthesize and analyze gathered data.

• Develops, implements, evaluates, and modifies care plans as necessary.

• Manages general medical and surgical conditions, understanding the implications of pharmacologic agents and other treatment modalities.

• Provides counseling and education to patients and their families.

• Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills relevant to the practice area.

• Keeps accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Patient Care:

• Delivers patient and family-centered care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for health promotion, illness prevention, and disease treatment across all ages.

• Ensures consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among all healthcare team members.

• Involves patients and families in care planning and treatment across various settings.

• Acts as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the healthcare system.
