PURCHASING & INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Purchasing Coordinator

Sun Life Health is looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator with hands-on purchasing experience to support purchasing needs across our organization. This role works directly with vendors, manages purchase orders, compares purchasing options, and helps ensure the organization gets the right products at the right cost and quantity.

Position Type: Full-time Job Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

What You'll Do

• Determine purchasing needs based on cost, quantity, availability, and organizational needs
• Obtain quotes and compare pricing and purchasing options
• Create, process, and track purchase orders
• Work directly with vendors regarding pricing, availability, orders, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate purchasing records using Excel and Acumatica
• Research products and purchasing options
• Resolve purchasing, pricing, and order discrepancies

What We're Looking For

• Previous purchasing or procurement experience required
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders
• Experience obtaining quotes and working directly with vendors
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Excel skills; Acumatica or other ERP experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple purchasing needs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 with a valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must meet fingerprinting requirements
