Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-driven Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance. This role is responsible for managing daily accounting functions, leading the month-end close process, supervising accounting staff, and supporting audits and tax filings. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities and a proactive, process-improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll accounting. Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Lead the preparation of schedules and documentation for external audits and tax filings. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all accounting entries and reconciliations. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting and process integration. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. Assist with ERP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). CPA designation (strongly preferred). 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity. Preferred Experience: Experience in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment. Background in construction or manufacturing preferred. Experience with process automation or ERP implementation is a plus. Knowledge of SOX compliance or internal audit best practices (if applicable).
