What You ll Do:
Provide OB/GYN coverage including deliveries, labor, and postpartum careManage approximately 120 deliveries per month, about 65% of all deliveries at the facilityConduct VBACs and perform C-sections as neededCollaborate with midwives and other healthcare professionalsUtilize Epic EHR (strongly preferred) for documentation and patient managementProvide a high standard of patient care within a busy labor and delivery unitStay at a hotel until called in for shifts, with orientation rate no more than 60% of hourly rate
What You Need:
Valid OB ABMS or AOA certificationComfortable working with MidwivesExperience with VBACs and cesarean sectionsStrong clinical and communication skillsAbility to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment
