Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for our existing clients, answering questions regarding their coverage, billing, and policy changes.
• Write new business for prospects, as well as add lines of business for existing customers. (First year commission earned!)
• Review upcoming renewals to ensure our clients have the most accurate and beneficial protection for their current life circumstances.
• Process endorsements and verify policy documents for accuracy against submitted applications.
• Collaborate with our carrier partners to resolve complex underwriting issues or claims inquiries.
• Identify gaps in coverage and proactively suggest additional solutions to better protect our clients' assets.
• Maintain meticulous electronic files to ensure we are always compliant and prepared for audits.

Requirements

• Active Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Minimum of two years of experience managing personal lines accounts.
• Strong command of agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Deep understanding of policy coverage, exclusions, and rating processes.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills suitable for client interaction.
• Familiarity with carrier-specific quoting portals.
• Associate degree or equivalent professional certification is highly regarded.
