Graphic Designer

Graphic DesignerAs a graphic designer for The James Agency, you will be tasked with creating and delivering a range of creative work including (but not limited to) social media ads, programmatic display ads, branding, website design, print ads, and logo design. Experience with production, traditional and digital design is a must. It involves working closely with other creatives, copywriters, and our entire team. You should be versatile and multifaceted, with a passion for solving problems with creativity and an eye for detail. Having a team-oriented mentality and understanding of how your role and work play into the broader integrated experience.RequirementsWorking from pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design workWorking collaboratively with creatives, copywriters, media team and the digital team to deliver creative work of the highest qualityStrong production background or experienceStaying on track with emerging design trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider creative communityArticulating and presenting creative ideas and concepts internallyAn exceptional online portfolio showcasing experience in traditional & digital workExpertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD)Knowledge of general best practices and differences between print and digital mediumsKnowledge of motion graphics/video/animation a plus (After Effects, Animate, Premiere)Knowledge/understanding of HTML/HTML5 and CSS can be beneficial but is not essentialProven understanding of typography, layout, color and grid structuresAbility to expand and execute a visual campaign concept across multiple mediumsHigh attention to detailStrong ability to stay focused and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multitask between simultaneous projects with tight deadlinesAbility to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere
