Assembly and Materials Technician, Electro-Mechanical Systems

• City & State: Westboro, Massachusetts
• Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
• Hours: 3:00PM-11:30PM

How you’ll contribute

• Prepare for builds by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, parts lists, and work orders; collect tools, parts, and subassemblies.
• Assemble, repair, and rework electro-mechanical components and systems to spec.
• Move, stage, and deliver materials to workstations; operate pallet jacks, carts, and other handling equipment.
• Perform kitting, labeling, and organization of production parts; maintain accurate inventory through documentation and scanning.
• Execute quality inspections, apply critical-to-quality standards, and complete production and quality records.
• Follow written work instructions; enter data into manufacturing systems with accuracy.
• Champion safety practices, collaborate with teammates, and help manage supply inventory by monitoring stock and verifying receipts.

What you need to succeedRequired skills

• Stand for 7+ hours per shift.
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Read and follow English-language work instructions.
• Comfortable using a handheld scanner.

Preferred skills

• 1+ year in manufacturing or production.
• Experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management platforms.
• Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, or traveler paperwork.
• Knowledge of safe material handling (lifting, staging, carts, PPE).
• High attention to detail for labeling and part accuracy.

Basic qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including occasional overtime.
• Detail-oriented data entry using computers and manufacturing software.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Team-first mindset in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable using power tools and related equipment.
