Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - CVORFull-time position with a Day 4x10-Hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30).Role ResponsibilitiesProvide high-acuity surgical support in cardiothoracic surgery.Circulate across core service lines in the operating room.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and standards during surgical procedures.Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to provide excellent patient care.Experience and QualificationsExperience in cardiothoracic surgery is preferred; high-acuity surgical support experience is necessary.General OR proficiency required, with scrubbing experience as a plus but not mandatory.Prior experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC, is required.Possession of an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse License in Virginia or a compact state.BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.On-Call ExpectationAvailability for four weekday call shifts (Monday-Friday) from the end of shift until 7 AM.Availability for four weekend call shifts, covering both day (7 AM - 7 PM) and night (7 PM - 7 AM) shifts on Saturday and Sunday.Unit DescriptionThis unit operates as a multi-service Level-II Trauma Center with 15 surgical suites, including one hybrid OR. The team consists of 3 cardiothoracic surgeons and 5 vascular surgeons.Client Details State VA
