Ultrasonographer Echo (Cardiac Sonographer) in Macon, GA. Job Details

• Location: Macon, GA
• Position Description: Cardiac Sonographer responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting with related procedures. Will conduct bedside scans for inpatients and support various cardiac diagnostic and procedural services.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS certification, ARDMS-RDS or RDCS certification; 2 years of acute care echo experience required; minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with a modified self-schedule in 6-week increments.
• Required Qualifications: Experience with pediatric, adult, inpatient, and outpatient populations; assisting with pericardiocentesis and other procedures; measuring accurate ejection fractions; comfortable performing pediatric scans; capable of providing preliminary findings in reports.
• Additional Information: May support new hire orientation, and does not include holiday or weekend call responsibilities at this time. Most call shifts are one night a week with a 30-minute response time.
