Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking dedicated Primary Care Physicians to join our expanding hospital multispecialty group. This role involves providing high-quality primary care in an office-based setting, with a focus on outpatient care. A full hospitalist service is available to support your practice.

Responsibilities:

• Examine, obtain medical history, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Focus on adult patients, as pediatric patients are referred out of the health system.
• Manage a patient load of 10-14 patients per day once fully ramped up.
• Enjoy flexible scheduling with start and end times adjusted to physician preference.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Engage in minor teaching and academic interactions with residents during rotations.
• Ensure care delivery and quality measures comply with PCMH and ACO standards.

Requirements:

• CT State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
