About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Required travel experience Description: This position is located in a community hospital and regional referral center. The facility has 171 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. It is a Certified Chest Pain Center and a Level III Trauma facility. Orientation will occur weekly. The unit features 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Available equipment includes Baxter pumps, and the electronic health record system is Medhost. The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. The position may require floating to an intermediate care unit as needed. Weekend hours may require call.
