Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you'll use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedure, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited medical diagnostic ultrasound program or other allied health program or equivalent training.
• National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). New graduates who are registry-eligible must sit for registry and obtain RDCS/RCS within the first year of employment or within the first year of eligibility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic adult echocardiography. Pediatric echocardiography experience preferred if working with pediatric patients.
• Ability to assist with transesophageal echocardiography image acquisition and equipment operation.
• Ability to document patient clinical history and technologist impressions accurately.
• Willingness to rotate on on-call schedule covering off hours and weekend rotation as required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide care appropriate to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including knowledge of growth and development and ability to obtain and interpret relevant information.
• Schedule availability for part-time weekend coverage: Saturdays and Sundays, 07:30–16:00. Typical schedule: 32 hours over two weeks. Holiday rotation as required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred. New graduates who meet registry eligibility are acceptable under the certification condition above.
