Maintenance Tech– $34/hr-$40/hr based on experience Our client in Chesterfield, Michigan is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. a long standing reliable manufacturer What's in it for you? $34/hr-$40/hr based on experience 1st & 2nd Shift Full time hours Clean and safe work environment Ability to be hired into the company What will you be doing? Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles machinery and equipment utilizing manual and power tools, and general tool room equipment such as: lathes, mills, grinder, etc. In doing so climbs, kneels, stands, sits, or crouches while handling items of various sizes, shapes, and weights Troubleshoots problems from reading electrical and hydraulic schematics; uses electrical testing equipment. Maintains departmental files of work orders, maintenance requisitions, preventative maintenance histories, and other related records. Performs a variety of building, machinery, and equipment repairs, installation, or modification requiring hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical skills. What do you bring? Approximately three to five years of job related experience is necessary to learn maintenance procedures and equipment operations. Analytical skills necessary to evaluate machine/equipment functions.
