In this role, your regulatory judgment becomes the standard our agents are measured against. You'll interpret complex requirements across energy operations, define what "correct" looks like for obligation mapping and evidence collection, review and grade agent outputs, and translate hard-won regulatory expertise into practical requirements our autonomous agents can execute at scale. What You'll Do Monitor regulatory changes across EPA, OSHA, PHMSA, RRC, FERC, TCEQ, and BSEE, and assess operational impact for energy operators Define, update, and refine compliance obligations that power Rival AI's agents Review evidence collected by agents, verify accuracy, and ensure documentation is audit-ready Grade and correct agent outputs, establishing the ground truth that improves agent performance over time Design and refine compliance workflows with internal stakeholders and support remediation efforts Translate regulatory insight into practical product requirements your expertise directly shapes what we build Qualifications Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the energy sector, with hands-on experience interpreting and applying rules from key agencies (EPA, OSHA, PHMSA, RRC, FERC, TCEQ, BSEE) Background in energy operations like oil and gas, power generation, midstream, or related industries with familiarity with EHS and operational risk management frameworks Demonstrated analytical skills: evaluating complex operational data, identifying compliance gaps, and prioritizing corrective actions Excellent communication skills, able to explain regulatory concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and produce concise, audit-ready documentation Experience in regulatory affairs: tracking regulatory changes, managing compliance programs, and supporting internal or external audits Comfort working with technology-enabled compliance tools and data systems; experience with AI-driven platforms is beneficial but not required Ability to work on-site in Greater Houston with high integrity and attention to detail with hybrid work schedule. #J-18808-Ljbffr Rival AI
