EBSH Direct Support Professional – Whittier, CA Job Title: Direct Support Professional Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $29.00/hr. (Depending on Certifications) Shifts Needed: AM, PM, & NOC Job Status: Full Time & Part Time Work Location: Whittier, CA Redwood Family Care Network is an innovative leader in delivering person-centered home and community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Outline and prepare daily routines for clients (visual and active) as written in their Individual Program Plan. Assist clients with bathroom needs. Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed. Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up. Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home or facility, if necessary. Qualifications Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (must obtain within first 12 months of hire) Registered Behavior Technician Certificate – RBT (must obtain within first 12 months of hire) First Aid/CPR & CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention (preferred or willing to obtain) Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a California driver’s license. Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
