Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | On-Site | Call Required | Weekend availability required — may exceed every other weekend to meet unit need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a large acute care hospital
• Perform on-call duties as required by the unit
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday coverage — expected to work 3 of 5 designated major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float to a nearby sister facility as needed; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Must be open to working weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• All time-off requests and scheduling preferences must be submitted upfront at time of submission — post-offer requests may not be considered
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a high-volume acute care or hospital-based Cath Lab environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between multiple units or facilities
