Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - ADN or ASN from an accredited school of nursing accepted in lieu of a nursing diploma.

Preferred Credentials: - BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred.

Unit Details: - Post-op neurosurgery and ENT patient population. - Neurosurgery cases include brain and spinal surgeries, trauma, cancer, stroke, and intracranial bleeds. - ENT cases include head and neck malignancies, cancer, infection, and involve the head, mouth, tongue, jaw, thyroid, and oropharynx. - May be required to function as charge nurse; training provided.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday.

Required Skills/Experience: - Required to charge nurse and function as charge as needed-will be trained.
