Title
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4 x 12-hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Assignment Details
Patient population: Adults & geriatrics; all emergency diagnoses
Ratios: 1:5 (day/night/weekend)

Requirements
- Active state RN license (non-compact)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (include valid NIHSS in submittal)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience, with previous ED/trauma/emergency experience strongly preferred
- Experience with charting system EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the emergency department
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and manage critical patient conditions, including cardiac monitoring and airway support
- Administer medications and therapeutic procedures as ordered
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Holiday requirement: available every other holiday, if needed
- Floating: required within skillset
- Pre-approved time off: one shift allowed
