Location:127 Public Square, Cleveland OhioJob SummaryThe Commercial Wealth Strategy Lead is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to increase Wealth engagement across the Commercial Bank portfolio. This role serves as a key connector between Commercial Banking and Wealth, identifying opportunities to deliver holistic client solutions through Private Banking, Business Advisory Services (BAS), Trust, and Family Office capabilities.This individual partners closely with Relationship Managers, Wealth Advisors, Market Executives, and specialty teams to deepen client relationships, uncover liquidity and succession planning opportunities, and improve Commercial-to-Wealth attachment rates. Success in this role requires strong relationship management, strategic business development, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.Primary ResponsibilitiesWealth Strategy & Opportunity DevelopmentDevelop and execute a comprehensive Wealth attachment strategy aligned with Commercial Bank growth objectives.Identify opportunities to expand Wealth engagement across existing and prospective Commercial Bank clients.Analyze portfolio trends, client demographics, ownership structures, and market dynamics to prioritize opportunities and target resources effectively.Establish best practices and engagement models that increase Wealth awareness and client penetration.Client Opportunity IdentificationProactively identify liquidity events, succession planning needs, business transitions, asset monetization opportunities, and wealth transfer strategies.Partner with Relationship Managers and client-facing teams to uncover wealth planning opportunities during the client lifecycle.Support strategic client discussions that position Wealth capabilities as part of a broader relationship strategy.Develop frameworks and tools to help Commercial Banking teams recognize and refer Wealth opportunities.Wealth Solutions EngagementIncrease utilization of:Business Advisory Services (BAS)Private BankingTrust ServicesFamily Office SolutionsFacilitate referrals and introductions between Commercial Banking and Wealth partners.Promote coordinated delivery of wealth planning, fiduciary, lending, and advisory solutions.Drive greater connectivity between Commercial clients and Wealth subject matter experts.Coverage Planning & Relationship ManagementLead coordinated coverage planning between Commercial Banking and Wealth teams.Establish joint calling strategies, client planning processes, and relationship development initiatives.Serve as a trusted advisor to Commercial and Wealth leadership regarding client opportunities and market trends.Foster a culture of collaboration focused on delivering seamless, client-centered solutions.Pipeline & Performance ManagementBuild and manage a pipeline of Wealth opportunities across the Commercial Bank portfolio.Monitor referral activity, engagement levels, conversion rates, and attachment metrics.Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to leadership on performance and growth opportunities.Drive accountability for referral generation, follow-up activity, and business outcomes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Significant experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Trust, Commercial Banking, or related financial services disciplines.Strong knowledge of wealth planning, business succession, liquidity events, fiduciary services, and private banking solutions.Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies and drive relationship-based growth.Proven success influencing stakeholders and leading initiatives across a matrixed organization.Strong presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $116,000.00 - $216,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
