You’ll support and mentor veterinarians at your hospital toward achieving medical excellence and enhancing patient care and outcomes through close collaboration with practice managers and hospital leadership. Our progressive compensation model includes competitive base salaries, quarterly production compensation, and a Medical Director stipend, plus no negative accrual. About Thrive Pet Healthcare, East Austin We’re a small animal primary care practice located in the heart of Austin, TX, providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats throughout East, South, and Central Austin. Our services include wellness and sickness exams, vaccinations, preventive care, spay and neuter procedures, surgery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and end-of-life care. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Base Salary Range: $170,000-$200,000 In addition to base salary, this Medical Director opportunity includes a Medical Director leadership stipend, an elevated production percentage, and a substantial sign-on bonus , creating the opportunity for first-year total compensation well above $200,000!
