LMRT / NCT X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a dependable and experienced LMRT or NCT-certified X-Ray Technologist to join a busy medical office. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday opportunity with steady daytime hours and a supportive clinical team environment.

Position Details

·         Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

·         Setting: Busy medical office

·         Patient volume: Approximately 10–15 patients per shift per technologist

·         Equipment: Universal X-ray machine

·         Team support: Another X-ray technologist will be on staff while a team member is on maternity leave

Responsibilities

·         Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging in accordance with provider orders and established clinical protocols

·         Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly and professionally

·         Operate and maintain X-ray equipment safely and efficiently

·         Position patients properly to obtain quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety

·         Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures

·         Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth patient flow throughout the shift

·         Work collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, and the additional X-ray technologist on site

Required Qualifications

·         Must be LMRT or NCT certified

·         Must have an active Texas license

·         ARRT certification is not required for this position

·         Previous experience in a busy clinical or medical office setting is preferred

·         Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills

·         Ability to manage steady patient volume while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
