Job Title: EXPEDITOR Reports To: DEPARTMENT MANAGER Purpose To safely and efficiently document, track and communicate needed materials within the department. Skill Requirements Ability to work safely Ability to read and write and follow complicated directions Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions Ability to use a computer, operate Microsoft office programs and type efficiently Must have good math skills Load and unload trailers Complete paperwork necessary to ship and receive Complete SAP transactions Knowledge of both Texturing and Preparation PIV duties Works well with others Good communication skills Machines, Tools, Materials, and Equipment Computer, paper products, phone, projector, pens and pencils, printer, copier, office supplies Authorized Training Time 16 Weeks Physical Requirements Standing – Ability to walk through offices and manufacturing floor – 50% of day Sitting – Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time, operating a computer and office supplies – 100% of day Lifting – Ability to lift up to 20 pounds to desk level – 5% periodically Push – Ability to push push‑carts – 5% periodically Reach – Ability to reach office supplies and materials on floor and 5ft cabinet height – 10% of day Walking – Ability to walk through the plant to get to work station, meeting rooms, break area, and to perform audits – 10% of day Visual Acuity – Ability to view, read, interpret and analyze data on paper, display screens, computer screens and on paper – 90% of day Environment – Ability to work around polyester, nylon and acetate – 100% of day Environment – Ability to work in a conditioned indoor environment where temperature varies with the weather – 100% of day Environment – Ability to follow defined break schedule – 10% Environment – Ability to work in manufacturing environment around powered material handling vehicles and moving mechanical parts – 100% of day Schedule/Attendance – Must be able to regularly and predictably attend per scheduled hours – 100% of day ADA The employer will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
