This position is ideal for individuals motivated to develop advanced imaging skills, offer exceptional patient care, and advance within a highly reputable specialty services team.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, such as PET/CT and SPECT/CTPrepare, calculate, order, administer, and document radioactive isotopes following established protocolsReview physician orders and confirm patient identification prior to proceduresProvide patients with guidance on exam preparation and procedural expectationsEnsure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging processPerform necessary quality control procedures and uphold equipment standardsAdhere to radiation safety, departmental protocols, and continuing education requirementsCollaborate closely with physicians, clinical staff, and imaging team members to ensure top-quality patient careRequirementsMinimum CriteriaCNMT or ARRT(N) certificationCurrent New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine LicenseBLS certificationExcellent communication skills and dedication to patient-centered carePreferred QualificationsNMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certificationPrior experience in PET and/or CTPET experience is not mandatory.
