Vice President of Project Delivery, TKD

Skybox Datacenters is a rapidly growing hyperscale data center developer and owner based in Dallas, TX with ongoing projects across North America. Skybox is seeking a new team member to support current and future developments. This role presents the unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of project delivery professionals and work with leading construction, architectural and technology partners in the industry. In addition to actively supporting existing development projects, this role is best suited for an individual that desires to help build a program which enables an aggressive pathway for new projects and meaningful growth. Position Summary The VP, Project Delivery provides strategic leadership for complex hyperscale data center projects from pre‑construction through full Turn‑key Fit‑Up and Fit‑out. This role acts as the critical link between executive leadership and field operations, leveraging deep technical experience to clear roadblocks and ensure seamless MEP integration. Key Responsibilities TKD & MEP Excellence: Lead the Project Delivery team through the full lifecycle, from horizontal construction through core, shell, high‑complexity technical fit‑outs, and full commissioning. Strategic Leadership: Guide and mentor Project Executive (PX) teams, ensuring field execution aligns with aggressive growth targets and corporate standards. Infrastructure & Utility Execution: Direct the delivery of critical infrastructure (power, network, MEP, Air/liquid cooling systems) and manage municipal construction relationships to ensure unhindered site mobilization and TKD schedule adherence. Financial Stewardship: Lead the development of construction budgets and financial modeling, providing senior leadership with accurate cash flow projections and risk assessments. Stakeholder Management: Support executive leadership in customer interfacing and provide technical field data for build‑to‑suit and lease proposals. Operational Handoff: Coordinate with Design/Engineering, the general contractor, and third‑party operations teams to ensure a seamless "Day‑1" transition. Contract Negotiation: Develop Statements of Work and lead contract negotiations for GCs and major subcontractors. Qualifications Required, 8+ years in Data Center construction, specifically owning the Turn‑Key Delivery (TKD) lifecycle for hyperscale assets. Deep technical understanding of high‑density cooling, power distribution, and the integration of complex MEP systems from shell through final commissioning. 5+ years of senior management experience with a proven track record of mentoring Project Executive (PX) teams and managing cross‑functional technical departments. Extensive experience managing multi‑million dollar construction budgets and negotiating high‑value contracts with GCs and technical subcontractors. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Construction Management, Architecture, Planning, or Engineering (Civil/MEP/Electrical preferred). High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and professional‑grade Project Management software. Based full‑time onsite at our Dallas headquarters with the ability to travel up to 40% to various North American markets.
