Job Description:
The Customer Returns Specialist supports return and repair operations by coordinating customer requests, creating work orders, and ensuring accurate system documentation. This role is well-suited for someone with corporate customer service experience who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable handling a steady volume of daily customer interactions.
This is a long-term contract opportunity, with many contractors extending beyond one year.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer equipment returns and enter detailed information into internal systems
- Create and manage work orders for repairs, calibrations, and certifications
- Communicate with customers regarding return authorizations, repair charges, and approvals
- Coordinate with internal departments and third-party vendors to support timely resolutions
- Review documentation related to repairs and calibrations for accuracy and compliance
- Track turnaround times and follow up on outstanding vendor repairs and invoices
- Identify and document process issues or quality concerns
- Handle approximately 25 inbound/outbound customer interactions per day
- At least 1 year of corporate customer service experience
- Strong data entry and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with AS400 is a strong plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- One-on-one training and hands-on support
