Position Details Memorial Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP) with great clinical and interpersonal skills to join their GI team. Schedule & Practice Highlights Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule Dedicated administrative time built into your workweek No call responsibilities Primarily outpatient practice Collaborative team with experienced physicians and clinical support staff Average patient volume of approximately 18 patients per day Established clinic with a strong referral base and experienced support staff Clinical Scope Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including: GERD, IBS, and functional gastrointestinal disorders Anemia and gastrointestinal bleeding Abdominal pain and altered bowel habits Abnormal liver function tests and chronic liver disease Additional responsibilities include: Performing pre- and post-procedure evaluations for endoscopy patients (EGD and colonoscopy) Coordinating treatment plans, follow-up care, and patient education Collaborating closely with physicians to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care Qualifications Nurse Practitioner with active New Mexico licensure or eligibility for licensure Two or more years of gastroenterology, endoscopy, or related clinical experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply Comfortable evaluating and managing common outpatient gastrointestinal conditions Spanish language skills are preferred but not required About Our Hospital and Health System Memorial Medical Center is a 199 bed hospital located in Las Cruces,NM and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
