About the Position

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures across a range of patient types, including ER patients, Virtual Colonography, and gated procedures
• Operate Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed scanners, as well as Cerner and McKesson PACS systems
• Manage an expected volume of 10–20 scans per shift, with evening shifts typically being the busiest
• Coordinate imaging reads with Nighthawk teleradiology services during night shift hours
• Float within the Radiology department as needed
• Adhere to holiday rotation schedule, working the same hours as weekends

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT-CT certification required
• Active ARRT-R certification required
• Active California state license required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Virtual Colonography and gated CT procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS platforms
• Prior experience working with ER patient populations in a fast-paced imaging environment
