Location: Litchfield Park, AZ

Pay: $22-26/HR

Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking cable technicians for a long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables.

The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player. Candidates will gain experience in running, testing, and terminating low voltage equipment for large data center projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pulling and routing CAT5e or CAT6 cable in a new construction environment
• Pulling and installation of fiber optic cables
• Installing support structures (ladder rack, fiber tray, basket tray)
• Installation of hot aisle containment systems (HACs)
• Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 1+ years' experience installing basket tray and cable tray
• Ownership of basic telecom tools: punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.
• Must be open to working Monday-Saturday up to 60 hours per week
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC standards.
