- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain the best possible images while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and input images and reports into the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures at all times.
- ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.
- Current state licensure (if applicable).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient-service skills.
