Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

SCHEDULE
Rotating shift schedule (3x12.0)

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- RN License (New York state license only)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- Two years of experience in the operating room
- Ability to scrub and circulate
- Telemetry experience is highly desired
- ACLS certification is preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Scrub and circulate for a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, and trauma.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and provide initial care as needed.
- Document patient care and monitor vital signs during surgical procedures.
