Job Family:Operational Effectiveness ConsultingTravel Required:NoneClearance Required:Active Top Secret (TS)What You Will Do:Guidehouse is seeking anOpen-Source Intelligence (OSINT)analysttosupporta complex projectprovidingtechnical and advisoryservices tothe Department of State.The candidate willbeon the “ground floor” of helping the client develop OSINT capabilities.In addition to supporting tool selection, the candidate willconductnarrativeopen-source intelligence, engagenumerouspropriety data sources, and conduct analysis toidentifyand track activities of interest.They will support all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key information gaps, through data collection, from performing analyses to delivery actionable intelligence. In this role, you will have an opportunity to interact with the clients’ senior managementandbrief key stakeholders.You will workas part of a largercross-functionalteam, supportingtechnical/management meetings working alongsidethe team and client.Day-to-day,you’llsupport client deliverables, often concerning various National Security threat actors, to include internal and client deliverables and presentations, day-to-day projectlogistics, and special projects as the need arises.Responsibilities will includebut not limited to: Supporting the assessment andselectionof OSINT technology that willassistthe Department inidentifyingand analyzing adversarial narratives across foreign information environments. Managing tool enablement for clients, including hands-on support and coordination with vendors as needed.Conducting open-source intelligence and proprietary research across social media, deep/dark web, and other sources. Performinglink analysis and develop network diagrams to illustrate relationships between individuals, organizations, and other entities. What You Will Need:An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearanceBachelor’s Degree FOUR (4)years of relevant experienceinOSINTand data collection and analysis techniquesProficientin OSINTtool selectionWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Experience working with the Department of Stateand Intelligence CommunityExperience in an international setting Excellent organizational and written communication skills; capability toclearly and succinctly define problems and outline solutionsStrong attention to detail Experience with technical writing or report productionA high-quality combination of some interests, skills, and experiences related to:Open-source data sets Open-source tools/softwareSocial media platforms and aggregators for analysis purposes,Syndicated or API-accessed databases Other technology (e.g., natural language processing, web-scraping techniques),Cyber threat intelligenceDeep & Dark Web, encrypted apps (e.g., TOR, Telegram)Specialized niche skills/knowledge (e.g.,foreign propaganda narratives)The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
