We're guided by integrity, excellence, accountability, and teamwork — and we welcome employees of all beliefs who share those values.If you take pride in quality work, thrive in the outdoors, and find joy in seeing a landscape project bloom from start to finish, we'd love to meet you!We are seeking someone to lead and manage our landscape crew.Compensation & Benefits:$60,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experienceHealth InsuranceRetirement PlanPaid Time Off and Holiday PayProfessional Development OpportunitiesCompany Cell PhoneAs the Landscape Garden Install Leader your responsibilities will include:You love working with plants and peopleLead and work alongside a crew of 2–4 awesome teammates.Turn detailed landscape designs into real, stunning gardens.Track daily tasks, hours, and materials like a pro.Operate fun toys (ahem… equipment) like mini excavators, skid steers, and compactors.Drive light-duty dump trucks and practice safe trailering methods.Keep tools, trucks, and the shop organized and ready to roll.Communicate with our production manager to keep every project running smoothly.Required Experience:2 years landscape installationValid Driver's License with clean driving recordAbility to operate basic landscape equipmentAbility to drive a light duty dump truck and have trailering experienceIdeal Qualifications and Skills:3-5 years installation experience in Landscape ConstructionStrong communication skills (Spanish a big plus!).A passion for plants, teamwork, and creating beautiful spaces.A degree in horticulture or related fields is a bonus, not a requirement.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesYesPhysical Demands The position requires various physical activities, including prolonged standing, walking, stooping, crawling, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, reaching, grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and handling. Other requirements include talking, hearing, depth perception, manual dexterity, and a wide field of vision. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.Work Environment The physical demands of this position include being exposed to various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and humidity. You will encounter fluctuating weather patterns and work in both wet and dry environments. This role also involves frequent exposure to high noise levels from equipment and machinery, as well as vibrations from the use of power tools. Additional environmental exposures include:Proximity to moving mechanical parts, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment.Potential exposure to electrical hazards, particularly when working near or with electrical systems (e.g., lighting or irrigation systems).Atmospheric conditions, such as dust, pollen, and fumes from machinery, fertilizers, or chemicals, requiring proper safety measures.Risk of electrical shock when using certain power tools or working around electrical systems.Working on or near wet, slippery surfaces, or uneven terrain, which may increase the risk of slips and falls.Bee stings and other bug bitesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Currin Outdoor Living is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
