Warehouse & Logistics Lead

Position Summary

The Warehouse & Logistics Lead is responsible for the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment. This hands-on role ensures products are received, stored, packaged, and shipped accurately while maintaining an organized warehouse and supporting an exceptional customer experience.

This position leads operational processes—not people—and is ideal for someone who takes ownership, enjoys improving workflows, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
• Prepare domestic and international shipments using FedEx, UPS, and other carrier platforms.
• Verify shipments include the correct products, labels, Instructions for Use (IFUs), accessories, and required documentation.
• Coordinate carrier pickups and maintain accurate shipping records.
• Maintain warehouse organization using 5S principles and ensure shipping supplies are stocked.
• Daily interaction with the Sales team regarding PO’s, order status and invoicing

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including serial number and lot traceability.
• Perform routine cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP or inventory management system.

Returns & Customer Support

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, returns, and order status with professionalism and urgency.
• Perform with order entry and order management as needed.

Documentation & Compliance

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and return documentation.
• Ensure compliance with product traceability and safe packaging practices.
• Assist in updating work instructions and operational documentation as processes evolve.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, shipping efficiency, and customer service.
• Assist in developing and improving warehouse and logistics processes to support the company's continued growth.
• Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve issues and improve operational performance.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping, inventory management, or distribution.
• Experience using FedEx, UPS, or similar shipping platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google suite and basic computer systems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Preferred

• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (NetSuite, Fishbowl, Cin7, QuickBooks, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Experience in medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Familiarity with international shipping and export documentation.
• Experience working in a startup or small business environment.
