Position Title : Licensed Mental Health Therapist Who We Are McKee Collaborative Therapy is a small, relationship-centered group mental health practice based in Durham, North Carolina. We provide therapy, psychological evaluations, and caregiver consultation grounded in neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, strengths-based, and developmentally informed care. We work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, and prioritize ethical, person-centered practice that honors each client’s unique identities, needs, and lived experiences. In order for our services to be broadly accessible to the community, we are in-network with several insurances, including Medicaid. Our services are offered in-person at our Durham, NC office, as well as via secure telehealth throughout North Carolina. While each clinician is equipped with a unique training background and areas of expertise, we are intentional in fostering a cohesive space for clients and staff to feel safe, seen, and supported. Position Overview We are seeking a licensed provider to join our team. Our consistent stream of referrals ranges from early childhood through later adulthood and represents diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, and clinical presentations.This role will frequently engage with clients seeking support for ADHD, autism, learning differences, executive functioning challenges, emotional and behavioral concerns, and diagnostic clarity, among others. Additionally, our most frequent referrals are for services for children and teens.The role is flexible in both structure and clinical focus and can be tailored based on your background and interests, as it relates to our general referrals. Clinician's start date is flexible. The part-to-full time (20+ clinical hours) transition is anticipated to take approximately three to six months, depending on therapist's fit with incoming referrals (clinical presentation, scheduling needs), transferring caseload, interest and involvement in marketing and networking opportunities, and insurance credentialing timelines. We are happy to discuss opportunities to supplement growing clinical caseload with paid business development and administrative projects as time and interests allow. We offer a competitive percentage-based compensation model for clinical hours that is commensurate with experience, training, and qualifications. Opportunities for increased compensation are available based on demonstrated competency, expanded responsibilities, and continued growth within the role. In addition to clinical compensation, we offer 5-10 paid administrative hours per week, depending on clinician's average caseload, for case documentation and business development.
