Data Center Technician L2Location: Santa Clara – CA, South San Jose, CA, Sparks, NV (Onsite) Rate: $35 w2 Experience: 4+ YearsTop 3 Required SkillsHands-on Data Center experience – Rack & Stack, cabling, hardware installation/replacementServer Hardware Administration – iLO, iDRAC, RAM/CPU replacement, firmware upgradesBasic Windows/Linux AdministrationKey ResponsibilitiesRack, stack, cable, and configure servers and network devices.Perform server and switch cabling based on approved wiring diagrams.Configure iLO/iDRAC, server IP addresses, and default access credentials.Replace hardware components including RAM, CPU, optics, and cables.Troubleshoot server issues and identify root causes with remote network/system administrators.Perform server firmware upgrades.Support network administrators with ad hoc server and switch requests.Coordinate replacement hardware procurement and return defective components to vendors.Validate connectivity and operational readiness after installation.Conduct physical inspections and inventory audits of servers, components, and consumables.Collaborate with network and systems administrators to resolve infrastructure issues.Required SkillsData Center Operations | Rack & Stack | Server Cabling | iLO | iDRAC | Server Hardware | RAM/CPU Replacement | Firmware Upgrades | Windows | Linux | Server Troubleshooting | Network EquipmentOnsite requirement: Sparks, NV Background Verification: Must be cleared before starting.Refine the DC Tech L2 outreachCreate a candidate screening checklist
