Mixer Truck Driver

Description Knight’s Companies is seeking a Job Type Full-time Description Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to join our Beaufort team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a ready-mix truck while delivering high-quality concrete products to our customers. This position plays a critical role in representing our company values, ensuring safety, and providing exceptional customer service on every delivery. What You’ll Do Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately Inspect loads to ensure proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color, etc.) Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards Support plant operations and assist team members when needed What We Offer $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Competitive pay with opportunities for growth Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Match Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) Company-Paid Life Insurance Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required Valid REAL ID in state of residence required Must be at least: 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina 21 years of age for operations in Georgia Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), including: No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Bilingual skills are a plus Interested in opportunities in other Knight’s Companies locations?
