Requirements

• Required certification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum required; 6 months of PET experience required (hard stop); first-time travelers accepted if 2+ years of experience 2. Cases: Will primarily work in PET but may float to Nuclear Medicine; average 6-7 PET/CT per day and 9 general nuclear studies per day 3. Certifications: ARRT(N) or NMTCB with CA license required, BLS required; does not need PET certification but must have required NM certification plus PET experience 4. License: CA license must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience highly preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s or 5x8s, variable start times 0700-0900, call required (post shift and rotating weekends), on-call 1730-0700 8. RTO: 7 days maximum; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility employment with locations and dates 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: 16 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires approval 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted if meeting experience requirements 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue for general staff; L&D/OR provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Siemens equipment (SYMBIA SPECTCT, SYMBIA, BIOGRAPH HORIZON PETCT); Siemens experience highly preferred Critical: LA fire card within last 30 days required. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. Must float between all facilities within state.
