Description:
Endoscopy Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They prepare patients and procedure rooms, assist physicians during endoscopic exams, and monitor patients' vital signs and sedation levels. The RN ensures proper equipment handling, maintains sterile technique, and documents all aspects of care accurately. They also educate patients on pre- and post-procedure instructions and support them throughout the care process.

Shift: 4x10s, 8a-630p, M-F with one day off. No block scheduling

Guaranteed Hours: 40
Years of experience REQ: 3+ years perioperative/endoscopy experience
Skills: Experience administering and recovering pts from moderate sedation. Experience in both Recovery and in Pre-Op admission. Skilled at inserting peripheral IV.
Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS
Locals accepted: Yes -locals preferred. Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
