What you will be doing?

The Registered Dietician Under the direct Supervision of the Executive Director, the Registered Dietitian plays a crucial role in addressing the nutritional needs of individuals in recovery, developing individualized meal plans, and educating patients and staff about healthy eating habits

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' dietary habits and nutritional needs.

• Analyze lab results and health histories to develop individualized nutrition plans.

• Design and implement customized meal plans based on individual health goals, dietary restrictions, and preferences.

• Educate clients about proper nutrition and dietary choices.

• Provide counseling and education to individuals or groups on nutrition-related topics.

• Develop educational materials and resources

• Work alongside healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and outcomes.

• Track and evaluate patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and outcomes.

• Stay updated with the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics.

• Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and certification.

What we need from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.

• Completion of a supervised practice program (e.g., dietetic internship).

• Passing the national examination for RDs.

• State licensure or certification as required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in meal planning and dietary management software.

• Can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, or private practice.

• May involve occasional travel for community outreach or professional development.
